Food  
This has been a hot button issue with my family (both blood and inlaws) and I'm really curious how the other parents here feel on it.

Do you have any restrictions on what your children eat other than allergies? Do you think it is better to limit or omit certain foods or for your children to eat whatever they want?

I'm not that restrictive, but I don't like chewy candies for either of my kids. I also don't allow them to have coke at all and only just started allowing my son to have sprite every now and then (he is 4 1/2). Other than that, I limit most things rather than restrict them.

I've taken that approach of late. Ceridwen can have almost anything we eat but as a general rule I'm trying to have us only eat things we'd _want_ her to eat. At least most of the time. That aside we are probably going out for ice cream today. *lol*
