Now that summer is over all the lovely summer fruits that Ceridwen loved to eat are gone. She'll eat some frozen fruit but really isn't particuarly fond of it and I can't blame her there. She prefers the frozen fruit in her smoothies. She loves to say the word "apple" but hardly eats them. Doesn't like oranges at all unless it is in juice form, and eats pears okay but gets tired of them if they are daily. Do any of you have any suggestions for fruit solutions? Her favorite fruits are blueberries, rasberries, blackberries, and strawberries.

Before he became sensitive to acidic foods, Julian LOVED the little pre-packed mandarin oranges. They were the perfect amount. He likes pears, too, and peaches, but not daily or especially frequently.

I'll have to try the mandarin oranges. She doesn't care for regular oranges too much but maybe they'll be different for her.

Patrick cannot eat enough green grapes. Considering he is such a sparrow with food I let him have a handful to hand for when he feels peckish

I second the grapes idea! My kids LOVE blueberries and they love grapes. You can also mix it up and try the different colours (green, purple, black).

How about banana?

She's not big on banana. She is eating grapes some but... *sigh* I miss summer. Summer fruit was such a joy. I think I'm going to break down and buy some green house expensive berries I saw at a market. Just the cost was crazy.

Unfortunately I'm paying outrageous amounts of money for strawberries and blueberries. :/
